I'll be putting on a little bit of paint onto the roaming rat, and wash/scrub some of the lizards. I feel that way with the sleeve order I just got from Paladin/NKSN. Sleeves for all of KD:M, Sentinels of the Multiverse, Eldritch Horror and Battlestar Galactica - with stuff left over. Shipping weight was over 30 pounds of sleeves

Bones will be a huuuiige avalanche. I also have Paladin sleeves showing up today. And a pair of mystery boxes from Privateer Press ($240 worth of figures for $60, mystery grab bag, I got 2). And an Amazon order of random stuff. And our new ezpass for the toll roads. And a pair of dress shoes I bought online. And 2 pairs of pants I got for work from another source. I bought all this stuff over weeks and months soliciting various sales and deals. And it's all confirmed delivered... today. RomyCat 1,050
Now I feel like pulling out my paint and miniatures. I've a graveyard to finish painting. Lots and lots of tombstones. And a large church.

The roaming monster lizard is going to be one of those that will be fun to paint and a pain in the butt to paint with lots of hard to reach places to paint.

I can't find the link on my phone, so Maybe be sold out? Generally the contents include a starter box, two heavy warjacks, plastic token set, and a Titan. The titan alone is worth the cost of entry. If you order multiple, you're guaranteed to not get repeat factions. I got Cygnar and Cryx. Was hoping to get menoth or kador but random is random (a coworker plays cryx, ordered 3 boxes and might trade when he gets his).

Mostly I've been only painting and playing Warmachine and Hordes with the occasional Guild Ball thrown in. @Konas has been rocking some new samurai game lately that has the world's smallest minis.

I hate it! I really want to try the game but absolutely abhor putting together the minis. They come in 7 parts plus the weapons and extras. Chest is in 2 halves. Legs and arms all individual. Then the head. It's called Test of Honor and the game play looks cool but after putting together one last night, I am dreading putting together 2 armies of 15 minis each. I may just use other minis as stand ins.

Plastic or metal? At reapercon, I bought into Freeblades. The minis looked really oldskool, classic metal sculpts and I've been doing only wild and crazy plastic minis forever. The simplicity really called to me. Sat down 2 nights ago and assembled a wild and crazy plastic mini from Brimstone and thought "wow, I really love Tamiya cement. Wait, I need to use superglue on Freeblades. I [frikkin] HATE mother [trucking] superglue..... Awww [shucks]." I'll get thru it, but it's lost some of its luster. ?

I think I glued the Samurai helmet to my hand about 5 times. Plastic. On a brighter note, I recently got this for myself on my birthday. I have wanted it for a while. It is prepped and primed, just waiting for me to dive in. Maybe this weekend. This is not my paint job obviously. He's about 4" tall.

Zoxe 1,177
Taking a short break from dropfleet (the panel lines are giving me a great case if the mehs) to have some fun with a the Brimstone Sand Kraken that I bought 2 or 3 Gencons ago but never got around to assembling. Will be a played model and not a competition model so I am going super fast on him. Assembled, with a 28mm figure for size ref. Initial green airbrushing. Later airbrushing would add the green highlights and orange mane. Current status. Working the eyeballs up to pure white before I paint the details. Played with some hand highlights in bright green around the eye plates. I'll do likewise on the orange and figure out something for the tentacles. Rocks will get repainted brown.

Zoxe 1,177
Sand Kraken was done last weekend. Here he's attacking my patio table.
Zoxe 1,177
This is a resin base that I'll use for a Shadows of Brimstone hero figure that I'm kicking out. I wanted to have her done already (for a campaign that was theoretically going to start tonight) but work sent me to Denver for 3d this week (to give a 1 HR brief, sigh). But he base is basically done, but the figure is still being basecoated. The shading was done with a mix of inks and airbrush. It needs a little dry brushing to pick out the rocks but is otherwise ready.
