Just picked this one up at Gencon. It's soooooo pretty. Can't wait to play it!

Anyone doing Dragoncon this year? It's coming up fast!

I tried to get my husband to upgrade to the DMG rails... alas, I was not successful. We got the Holmes with the walnut rails. We use our dining room as our game space, and since we need a table that seats 10, a full gaming table was going to be... expensive. The Gametopper was the perfect solution.

Our game room is our dining room... and also happens to be our shrine to geekdom in general (I'm a big reader). We've added more since, but this was when we first got everything finished.

Did anyone else get a GameTopper? I've been looking at table options, and after seeing it at Origins, just had to. Plus, Burky was soooo nice. Super excited!

Typically, my vacations are on a beach somewhere, rum punch in hand. I really enjoy cons, though, so I try to even it out. Get one full week of relaxing vacation, then two or three cons, which are usually Thurs-Sun.

Oooo... it's been too long since I've had a good steak. I need to make that happen soon. Nice long soak in the tub last night after packing to get the last bit of relaxation in before Gencon. Calm before the crazy... #simplepleasures

Was finally able to get a token shield at Origins. So far it's been used for Scythe, LOTR Journeys in Middle Earth, and to look at all my new pretty dice (3 sets of which came with the shield due to the kindness and generosity of the Mikes). 😍

Trogdor looks like a lot of fun. Who doesn't enjoy burninating the countryside? 😄

Not a great shot... but I got a beautiful set of blue sandstone dice at Origins. 😍

I almost backed those, but decided against, and now I'm sad I didn't. So pretty!

Last game played was Scythe... almost a month ago. It's been too long, but summer weekends can be crazy. Hoping to get some gaming in at Gencon this weekend. 🤩
