I haven't gotten the camera out, but my hero sleeves and pumpkin dice box have arrived safely.  That dice box is even cuter than I expected.  Dare I say super cool.  I LOVE the orange stain.  It needs to be come a standard stain choice, I think.  You could call it @tgpumpkin orange.

The chechen sleeve is well chechen.  The canary wood came with some sexy wood grain.  Thanks @Konas!

I don't know if we could handle the licensing fees for a @tgpumpkin named Orange. How many gourds per box would we be looking at?

He'd probably let you carve out a niche.  Doubt he'd try to squash your efforts.

I just saw that, I'm waiting for something else though too, that way I can order them together. Hopefully they will last until then...

Can you quote the group, so we get a "ding" from the forums?

@Peter Pickle Oh so you were one of them.  I have such conflicted feelings knowing that  you are both a bocote compatriot in sharing my love for bocote and yet are a nemesis in swooping in and buying it before me.  I don’t know how to process this.

at least I’ll have my hero sleeve when it comes.  No one can take that from me.

Every day I check their store for a unique piece.  Every.  Day.  I know the rolling tray stags they sell in overstock by heart now.  I’ve named one bob and the other Fred.   They’re good friends.  Bobs the blue one....he’s a little shy and writes poetry but you can have deep reflective talks with him which is why Fred appreciates him. Fred on the other hand has a brash personality filled with wanderlust.  He’s an act first and think about it later kind of stag.  He’s the type to frolic in an open field with no regard to hunters.  He’s a real rebel without a cause kind of stag rolling tray.  Fred is great at helping bob get out of his comfort zone and try new things.  Bob has helped Fred to think first before he leaps.  As a set these two have the ultimate complimentary friendship. When they find a home I know they’ll be both excited for each other but also devastated that they’ll be separated.  At least they’re enjoying their friendship together while it lasts.

I have too much time on my hands ;) bottom line.....I have such terrible luck in the DMG store.

Wow, Tgpumpkin, that is a great story you have written. I think you should give both of the stags a happy ending and buy both of them yourself. ;)
