That's when the alarm goes off.  The goal is to be at my desk and working by 6:30.  If I have to go to the office downtown, that shifts to a 5 am alarm (no snooze buttons), and at my desk by 6 am.  Otherwise the commute time doubles.

ickkkkk

I am not a morning person, that sounds like torture.

I've been doing it forever.  On one job, I came in at 5 am and coordinated with the lead from an India team.  He'd be the last guy out over there, and we'd overlap for an hour to hand off what work had been completed overnight.  The plus side was the "night time bus" and "early afternoon bus" were significantly cheaper, and I only did it for a year.  Come in to a quiet office, get a good parking space, avoid traffic, and most importantly, get out with the most possible daylight left in the day.  The problem is when you mess up your routine when you're off work for a while.

I use to do a lot of business with Hong Kong and Taiwan but luckily I was able to do late nights rather then early mornings. Getting out of bed is the worst.

The trick is to get into a routine of eating dinner earlier and going to bed earlier.

Or at least like Barb needs to have a giant bat for anyone who attempts to mess with her sleeping schedule.

There's a reason I live alone now, and decided to switch from cats to fish.  😀

Yeah cats aren’t great at following any sort of routine without complaint.
