Maybe you should have sent out the email like you were filling up an airplane.  Backers 1-250 you can come up and enter pledge manager.

Our plan would have worked if it wasn't for those mangy kids....

I'm coordinating a fiery 4-pack order for myself and some friends and, amusingly, the last person finally got his selection in to me about 5 minutes before the PM email went out.

Our order:

Fiery Green - Standard Set but swap one bowl for a deck

Fiery Purple - Square x4, Card x4

Fiery Purple XL - Standard Set plus L, Deck, & 2 Counters

(My set) Benge - Dragon x2, Square x2, Bowl x2, Dual x2

For my set, I was debating between getting Squares/Duals vs. Cards/Doubles but then I saw the DM Labor Day sale and decided to order a Card Stand bundle to manage all of the cards instead.  Honestly, I'm really looking forward to using the DM Card Stands with my over-sized Sentinels of the Multiverse villain cards, so the bad guys can tower over the table.

Or maybe you guys need to learn some software developer lingo.  My estimation of popularity goes most popular response and then down in popularity from there.

  1. That weird.
  2. Did QA even test this?
  3. Who is the reporting user?  Is this PEBKAC?  (problem exists between keyboard and chair)

Question - If we were a Day 1 backer, do we need to note anything in the PM in order to get the free set(s) of dice?

Woot, got mine done. Worked great after the mad rush was over! Can't wait!

I think I'll let you guys get all the bugs out of the system first before I wade in.  I  have enough computer issues at work.  I don't need them in my play.

They know by your backer number.  You should be good.

Well, it's done.

DONE.

I wound up getting 2.  I wanted to keep myself at 1 but after the addition of the L tile that proved impossible.  I wanted to get at least 1 of everything, and have a few to pass out to players.  So I present to you my final configurations, both in Benge wood so I could mix them and not have to bring them ALL every time:

"The P&P" (Player & Party) Collector: 5x Double tiles to pass out to players for simple storage options, and Deck, Reverse Deck, and Slots for light card games that play lots of people, or even games for standard decks of cards like Rummy.  Or even...UNO.

"The Swiss Bank" Collector: Quad, Card, Dragon, Square, Bowl, Bowl, Dual, L.  Perfect as communal bank tiles for any Euro game, and a few I intend to use for a personal station.

When these finally arrive, I will be sure to take many pictures, both of me using them at home and in my game store, as well as part of my setup at my medieval LARP casino table!  It's gonna be a hit there.

Benge is, in my opinion the best middle-of-the-road wood option out of everything.  It's a dark, rich color that looks great with the grain, and is still pretty affordable.  That's why both of mine use it.

The squares will probably be sculpted versions.

Indeed they turned out to be sculpted. :)

One of each, except the Hut. I figured that games that really needed the additional space that the sculpt takes away, could probably work with the trays anyway. And since I get 8 of those...

@SeeSome Nope, we will track that on our end.

It's really fascinating to see all the different layouts and styles folks are choosing.  I love reading about all the configurations.

I probably  went overboard with a four pack and an additional XL CoCo Sammich.  I just couldn't resist.

My four standard CoCos will each have Bowl, Bowl, Card, Quad, Poker, Poker, L.  Each will be rounded out with a different sculpted tile: Dragon, Hammers, Wolf, and Tree.

I also opted to pick up a Benge XL Sammich which will be my Portable Party Package.  It will have 4 each of Double, Bowl, and L.

Now the waiting begins in earnest!

I went with the Chechen standard with an additional standard redheart tray.

Very fine choices. Redheart and Chechen is a strong combo.

You suggested the Redheart as a contrasting choice for my additional tray, so thank you.

Enlighten me on the pros and cons of the deck tile vs reverse deck tile

With the alignment marker at the top of the tile the 'Deck' tile has the high side of the tile at the top, and therefore the slope going away from you. The 'Reverse Deck' has the high side of the tile at the bottom, and therefore the slope is towards you. So with 'Deck' you draw cards away from you and with 'Reverse Deck' towards you.

However, if you're not using any of the single card tiles ( 'Double' or 'Card') then I don't see why you couldn't just turn the tiles around and have the alignment marker at the bottom, so the 'Deck' tile draws toward you.

I chose 'Reverse Deck' as I have single card tiles in my sets, so will need to have the alignment markers at the top, and I want to draw cards towards me.
