How's the weather in your neck of the woods?

The weather in MN is made to make gardeners weep.  14" of snow in the middle of April.  100 degrees in May basically killing the iris, tulip, bleeding heart and other spring blooms.  Then it cooled down once the flowers got burned out.  Then the yard got hailed on.  Now we are finally ready for the July blooms to pop.  87 degrees Thursday.  100 degrees Friday.  Storms on Saturday.

My peonies were totally crispified. They lived about a week. :(

Yeah.  If my day lillies and campanula burn out in a week, I'll be really upset.

During the same day, at the Raglan Mine, extreme northern Québec :)

Brother in law is working there.

Bodes well for the ice roads though.

It’s 102 in Denver right now.  I’m heading to an outdoor concert this evening.  Between that and not being acclimated to the elevation, what could go wrong ?

There is no sin saying, forget it, and heading to the bar for a cocktail instead.

I just heard we've got an excessive heat warning starting at noon and continuing until Sunday. ? I'm going to need to change my plans.

Excessive heat warning here too in southeast Wisconsin. Ours goes only until tomorrow night at 7:00 right now. Nothing like spending a summer weekend trapped indoors ?

Me too.  Just came in from watering everything really well.  Thankfully it's a BIG MSU football recruiting week.  2 just committed, and 2 more today should commit.

Only 11 am and we have this!  Glad I got up early and watered before work.    The worst part of this is the dewpoint of 74.  Yuck.

@LuckyIke that looks like one awesome concert. From the far away pictures, John Tesh did one of his concerts that I watched on TV years ago.

I just went out to get the mail.  Ugh.  It still is awful out.  9:30 pm and it's "cooled down" to 91 degrees, and the dewpoint still is awful making for a whopping 100 degrees F heat index.  ?

My tax statement makes that a definite NO.

Off topic, but these guys crack me up.  The first guy is an MSU fan pretending to be a meat chicken fan.

Thankfully Mercifully the misery weekend weather broke overnight and it appears we'll have a little relief for now. Although checking the forecast it's supposed to be back up to 89 by this Thursday.
