  2. Nah, you should be fine. I have a few robin nests around my house. They will likely just ignore you and avoid you. :)

    Or, if they set up inside your open garage-shack-thing like one did in mine, you'll need to help them navigate out of your open garage-shack-thing, but that's about it.

    I started adding a few streaks to the chipped areas. Trying to sell it as impacts of large caliber ship to ship combat, not "rust." 

    Also started coloring in the undercarriage to confirm that I like the color scheme. Here's current status. I did this side and had to stop for a bit. So many little details and edges. Doing a pair of these ships, so planning to split up the work over the next few days. Will then wash all the silver, highlight, a little dry brush, and do a pass with the airbrush to add some engine soot. Once the silver us basecoated it should go quickly.


    Ohohohoh I am LOVING this ship. The stripes not being perfectly opaque, but also the damage. My fav so far.

    Probably would have been easier to get yeast and go from there, but he literally made it from scratch. You start with a 50/50 mixture of bread/wheat flour and add water. Everything is mixed with the hands so you get yeast from the flour, air and hands. It takes ~20 feedings (1/day) till you start seeing decent progress. Followed the instructions in the Tartine Bread book. 


    I waaaant it.

    That looks freaking mouth-wateringly delicious. And you're in CA so you probably used the right yeast, yeah?! The good ol' San Francisco yeast?! It's different out in the east coast - different yeast, so different taste. Not sour enough, not enough bite. It's a disappointment every time.

    It's crazy, the apple tree isn't anywhere near dropping apples yet - which is when they usually come around. We haven't really started our garden fully yet, just started digging it out. Have some starters in the humid mud room to get them going, but nothing in the ground.

    We put up netting and stuff last year and will do that again.
