  1. Ah, sounds intriguing. Right now, most of the games I play are only with our sister. Since the Virus hit, we don't get to go to the monthly Gaming meetups. So if it needs a lot of people, it won't get played much by my sister and me.
  2. Hey, just noticed 3 out of 4 of us backed Frosthaven. @Barb Bliss and I seem to have the most games in common from what we have backed over the years, including the awesome cat minis and the never-to-be-seen Whelps to Wyrms.
  3. Kickstarters I'm currently waiting on: 2020 Tiny Epic Pirates Railraod Ink Collection Rise of Tribes: Beast & Bronze Canvas FrostHaven Skulls of Sedlec Mint Control Battle Mat Books: Towns & Taverns (not a game, but awesome mats for playing D&D, been backing their products for years) Mint Control Deep Space D-6 Armada 2019 Dinobilvion Tiny Epic Dinosaur Calico Labrinthos Obsession Mint Cooperative Burgle Bros 2: The Casino Capers Sleeping Gods 2018 Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood of Venice (close to beginning production, have given a mid 2020 for delivery from the very beginning, so not late yet) Zoo-ography (in production) Incoming Transmission (starting to get a bit concerned about this) 2016 Whelps to Wyrms (may never see this one)
  4. I still remember the cool cat mini. Just wondering, how often have you played it? Is it really worth the high price?
  5. That would be nice if that is allowed.
  6. I really love the leopard tray that you could have gotten with the first Rise of Tribe. I soooo wanted it (as cats are my thing), but it was beyond my budget at the time.
  7. Ooh, @Serge Darveau, I was chatting through the Kickstarter comments with Mike Veen who works for Breaking Games. I mentioned I had backed the expansion of Rise of Tribes because of you, and he said this about you in the comment section, "Nice! Thanks for the links, RomyCat. Serge Darveau has been a true champion of this campaign being active posting his solo play in the Facebook group as well. Thanks, Serge! Glad you got on RomyCat's radar. :)"
  8. I curious about The Stars Align by Breaking Games. Great title. It's a two player game about lining up stars to match patterns on cards. Has a day/night cycle. Here is a link to their Kickstarter for the Rise of Tribes expansion that we have been mentioning. Time is almost up for it. Many of you may remember that Breaking Games did a tie in with Dog Might two years ago with the base game. A lot of us got cool CoCo with shapes from the game like the awesome Sabertooth Tiger. 9. Ooh, I use my Rise of Tribe CoCo's too when playing the game. My favorite is the Saber tooth tiger.
  10. Ah, you recognize the black limba. I actually had forgotten which kind I bought and was wondering. 😌
  11. My new Looking Glass which fits with the necromancer character I play in Pathfinder. Hidden among the dice is my pride and joy Leopardwood D20 (far left, middle row) from DMG. The Looking Glass is smaller than I had thought, which makes it light and easy portable. I'm eagerly looking forward to showing off this case at my next Pathfinder meeting. For Christmas my sister game me these two card holders made of my favorite two woods: leopardwood and rosewood. These card holders are FAR larger than I had guessed. Impressive and beautiful. My cat Rose playing Cat Lady. Can you guess her favorite wood? Another close up, this time with cards.
  12. I didn't know until I saw a post here that there was an expansion for Rise of Tribes. Backing it now. Love the original game. Was on my 10x10 Challenge Last year.
  13. When we found the contents of envelope X, it says on the outside something like, "Open when you feel you deserve to." My sister and I felt we still has a lot of room for improvement so we have not opened it. Now I'm really, really curious about what is inside. Need to play some more Gloomhaven soon and prove our worth.
  14. My sister and I logged 27 plays of Gloomhaven. We really enjoyed it. We need to get back to playing it again. Got plenty of time before Frosthaven arrives.
  15. Link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/roadtoinfamy/canvas-2?ref=profile_saved_projects_live This one really stands out from any game I have seen before. As both my niece and I love to paint, this is one I plan to pick up for her.
  16. Yep, I backed Gloomhaven. I'm excited to see that it is the 8th most funded project ever on Kickstarter and 2nd place for board games. Can it beat Kingdom Death with its $12,300,000?
  17. I think I can become a late backer. I just got in my cat Kickstarter from them. The minis look great.
  18. I missed Animal Adventures: Secrets of Gullet Cove. Came and went without me knowing about it. I had backed their previous set of cat mini's which should arrived any day now.
  19. If I didn't already have five real cats, this would be tempting. I think they would try to beat up a new robot cat and boss it around.
  20. Oh, I forgot to add to my list Animal Adventures: Tales of Cats and Catacombs that Barb pointed out to me last year. The sequel Kickstarter came and went without me even knowing about it, which I guess is good as I saved $70. But now I'm tempted to become a late backer for it.
  21. Time for a new update on what I'm waiting on. Really looking forward to Labyrinthos 😀 2020 Deep Space d-6 Armada 2019 Burgle Bros 2: The Casino Capers Roll Player: Fiends & Familiar Big Box Sleeping Gods Burgle Bros 2 Mint Cooperative Obsession Labyrinthos Calico Tiny Epic Dinosaur Button Shy games (3 of them) Dinobilvion 2018 Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood of Venice Zoo-ography D6: Dungeons, Dudes, Dames, Danger, Dice & Dragons! Incoming Transmission Tang Garden 2016 Whelps to Wyrms (May never see)
  22. 1. Keep my gaming buying under control. 2. Cut back on sweets. Diabetics runs in the family and I need to be careful. 3. Make an awesome Game Room in my house.
  23. We had a get together yesterday for friends. My sister made pumpkin circles with cream on top. Then she made pumpkin brownies. Yummy.
  24. Wow, its like a fancy, new version of Q-bert. But much cooler.
  25. Better late than never. What’s the game you played the most this year? Azul for me, followed by Welcome To.... Game that surprised you the most? Hm, many games lived up to what I expected. Perhaps a surprised gem was Ramen Fury which you can pick up at Walmart for $10. Fast, fun game which makes me hungry whenever I play it. Game you regret the most not backing? Originally Obsession from a few years ago, but it came back a few months go and I did back it this time.
