  1. I use Nuln a lot when doing the "massive darkness" and "village attacks" type minis. I've switched gears recently to Grimm Forest and War time in Christmas, so I haven't used it as much. I've also used some of the others here. I'd like to find a good yellow wash. The one I found is way too orange for quite a few of the applications I would want to use it for (like blond hair). I end up just diluting paint until I get what I want.
  2. I do too, but it drives me crazy if I get too much on and it drips to where it shouldn't. 🤬
  3. The treant bark was my favorite thing to paint. A lot of different layers and washes. White primer, translucent burnt umber, dry brushing, burnt umber wash, green wash, smoke wash in the knots, and some wet brush "erasing". The packages were a pain in the butt. I felt I had to paint all 4 sides, which was a logistic nightmare.
  4. What do you think @Konas? Note: the packages are really small. The green on is around a quarter of an inch...
  5. Huh. All I see is a Fibonacci sequence.
  6. Santa Claus is going to war! Mimic packages. Pretending and ready for attacking...
  7. If only you could have caught @Konas smacking his thumb with the book tower...
  8. Getting old stinks. Enjoy what you have as it will never get better, but it will definitely slide downhill.
  9. Good choice, though there's nothing quite like an ice palace or a holidazzle parade.
  10. I noticed the duplicates and commented first. Come on @Thomas Browne. Dem's the rules.
  11. Something flat without sculpt or engraving. Like a sentinel or screen. Or if you were to make another skirmish box out of really pretty stuff, I would buy it.
  12. That stinks! Maybe something else needs to get super glued to the ceiling of the shop.
  13. I felt that way with Massive Darkness. But it was annoying when some people didn't really appreciate just how many hours of work went into a mini. But playing with other painters was rewarding.
  14. I'd love to swap mine (chechen) for yours. I tried to be a good girl for too long.
  15. It's the root of it for me too, though I do like to branch out from time to time with irony, even if it leaves me out there on a limb.
  16. You didn't think I was sitting her pine-ing away for your response, did you? I'm not that board.
  17. His kitty went to heaven way too soon.
  18. He needs another game manager...
