I've previously posted these but couldn't resist since they're finally getting some time on the table. DMG kingdom death gear grid prototypes working in tandem with CoCos. Magnets are holding these together for a 1 player, 2 character dashboard.

So. Iโ€™m finally all caught up with Dog Might. I pledged to the CoCo Kickstarter back in 2017. Since then I have had one order or another in production until earlier this summer. Here is the entire collection. Left to right, front to back. Hero plinths. (Various Woods) Wooden dice (Black Walnut and Chacate Preto). Dragon Sheaths (Paduak, black walnut, Bubinga, Wenge). Bone box with hero sleeves (Bolivian Rosewood, Chechen, wenge, leopardwood, and bocote) Galaxy Sentinel. Monterillo Rosewood XL Dragon sheath. Mixed wood XL Dragon sheath. Bubinga GM system. Black Walnut dice tower. Rainbow dice tower. Bolivian Rosewood rolling tray. Selectively stained Valhalla Screen. (Not pictures, many dice, some presents and my cutting board because itโ€™s in the china cabinet and I forgot about it.)

Ding Dong! DMG box at the door!!! They weren't kidding when they called my cedar Sentinel aromatic. I moved the first fold of bubblewrap and I was enveloped with the sweet smell of cedar. Leopardwood dragon wallet. Still debating whether this will be a gift or I keep it for myself.

Our game room is our dining room... and also happens to be our shrine to geekdom in general (I'm a big reader). We've added more since, but this was when we first got everything finished.

Here are some of my latest creations. The two warriors and the pirate with the chest are from beginner Reaper minatures that I've had sitting around for over a year and finally decided to paint them.

Finally got a chance to get some pics of my Coco. The Chechen is beautiful, and the Redheart sammich top looks amazing too. This was definitely worth the wait!

My new Looking Glass which fits with the necromancer character I play in Pathfinder. Hidden among the dice is my pride and joy Leopardwood D20 (far left, middle row) from DMG. The Looking Glass is smaller than I had thought, which makes it light and easy portable. I'm eagerly looking forward to showing off this case at my next Pathfinder meeting. For Christmas my sister game me these two card holders made of my favorite two woods: leopardwood and rosewood. These card holders are FAR larger than I had guessed. Impressive and beautiful. My cat Rose playing Cat Lady. Can you guess her favorite wood? Another close up, this time with cards.

Our collection. My husband's brother-in-law made the base. He used the deer as a sample and gave it to us because he thought it was funny.

Have received my new dice tray and seen that it has more room inside than the other, so I've put my precious. So, having a flash in my head, some magnets, glue, jenga blocks and red paint... It can be used with the CoCo tray Or another tray

Just in case you were wondering where all the themed boxes went...Some of these are going to be Christmas gifts, I swear! Although my fingers may be crossed as I say that...;) Look, I gave everyone more than enough chance at some of this stuff, but at the end of the day I'm only human--a human with a weakness for gorgeously constructed and stained things... The rolling tray is going to be where I put my wallet, keys, etc at the end of the day (as opposed to them winding up in random places that I then have to rediscover later). The Sentinel will be pressed into organization duty. I haven't figured out what I'll do with /two/ token shields yet (the other one is Dark Rainbow, so I clearly have a "type"), but I'll think of something. And the boxes will be gifts and/or be used to store pins or rings or other small doodads I have currently scattered around!

Loving the game Labyrinthos, I designed five microbadges which were approved on the website Board Game Geek. There is a badge for each hero and one for the Minotaur. If you have a BGG account and would like to show your support for the game, you can purchase the badges following these links: Sostrate Leona Minotaur Diodotus Akakios

Was finally able to get a token shield at Origins. So far it's been used for Scythe, LOTR Journeys in Middle Earth, and to look at all my new pretty dice (3 sets of which came with the shield due to the kindness and generosity of the Mikes). ๐Ÿ˜

My new dragon tray came today. As soon as I saw it on the site I bought immediately as it was really cool. But not as cool as it is in person. Whoever did this tray (Josh???), job well done!

A stain i did Friday. Ended up looking similar to (but not as cool as) Jeremy's orc screen.

The player pad I got for my wife arrived last week and I finally was able to pry it away from her long enough to get a picture. The 4e cover came out great and she absolutely loves it.

Happy hump day everyone! I am in a fantastic mood despite not sleeping at all for no apparent reason. Got the new table home and, I must say, it looks so much better at home than it does in the shop lighting. The figure on the curly maple is just stunning. Not great pics that don't capture the warmth of the wood but I am very pleased. Just in time for Pandemic Legacy tonight!

Hi Everyone! I'm new here. I just received the most beautiful creation from the DMG Team, and I had to share pics with you all so I could bask in your envy share my joy! Anne took up the challenge of satisfying a picky customer and personally worked with the exceptional crafting team to come up with quite frankly the perfect Sentinel. Redheart banded with African Mahogany, and my goodness is the sheer crimson something to behold. I tried to take some nice pics but the finish really has to be seen for real! I changed my mind on what dice to put in it when I saw the coloration. Anyway, here's some pics. I've browsed the site for some time now, and have seen the video, etc. and this is in my mind the most perfect version of the Sentinel I've seen anywhere. I can't thank you all enough! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

Reapercon contest entry. Started assembly about 10d ago, airbrushed basecoats last Friday and hand detailing on Sunday. I should have kept track of my time, there's a reason I've been a lot quieter on the forums. First pic is the nekkid model. Still a WIP and under crappy desk lights. Need to fix some highlights, do another pass on the blades, adjust lighting with the airbrush and wash and detail the base.

I'm proud to say that the color shift scorpion won first place for Best Monster in the Shadows of Brimstone painting competition at Gencon. I was greatly humbled by the response to the figure. Picture below is in the case at the show floor, followed by a couple of glamour shots in my light box. I painted a pair of them, but the category is for best single figure, so I picked the one I liked better for the entry (the one with the ram horn skull). Middle of the weekend, I was at the booth buying stuff, and noticed a guy with the scorpion kit box in his hand. He brought his wife to the case, pointed at the box, then my figure, and back again and gestured excitedly. She smiled and nodded, he pulled out a phone and took several pictures of my figure. That one exchange was better than winning anything. My other entry was greatly enjoyed by the people I talked with, but rightfully didn't place. There were some wonderful entries in the diorama category. I painted up two sets of bad guys in the Ghostbusters vs. Slimer theme. The backdrop was out of a hot wheels set that I repainted. The little Ghostbusters shoulder patches were free hand, my first real attempt at something like that. Had a ton of fun, will put the Ghostbusters on the gaming table proudly.

I was fortunate enough to do some gaming after work with Carmel, Donnie, Travis and Paris. I had a blast. I was apprehensive about playing a rpg but Carmel was a great DM so I had an experience I won't soon forget. I hope everybody here in the forum is having a good week so far. What kinds of games do you enjoy?

So this weekend we drove out into the foothills looking for cool pictures I can sell. I saw this really cool shot of the riverbend (picture #1), so we stopped the car and walked back to the spot. I was getting the camera ready as I walked and accidentally hit the button, taking a picture of who knew what. I figured I would delete it later. I got home and uploaded the pictures, forgetting about the oopsie. Turns out that "oopsie" was a cool shot of the hills with a few fair weather cumulus in a blue sky. Also turned out to be straight by some sheer luck. Picture #2 is my accidental picture.

Guys....I have to say....Dog Might Games are truly the best. I mean, their products are one thing, but the PEOPLE that work there are what really set them apart to me. I think these are some of the best guys and gals in the world that I've never met. Here's the story....Awhile back I contacted another friend that I have never met, Richard Breese (designer of many incredible euro games) . Richard's games ooze charm and whimsicalness (not sure that was a word but it didn't tell me it was wrong so I think I'm good). Underneath the charm, are some of the most clever, tightly woven mechanics in game design. For those who don't know Richard is credited with creating the first worker placement game. Not only that, he is an active member in the BGG community and just is one of the coolest all around guys I've ever had the pleasure to converse with. Awhile back, he even contacted me to tell me that he was mentioning MY name on his newest game box with a link to my review of Keyflower. Keyflower is my favorite game of all time, by far. I literally think its an almost perfect design. I have played the game now 1500 times. Crazy right.... Well, back to the story...I contacted Richard to ask if I could have DMG make me a box for Keyflower. It should be stated up front that I specifically told Richard this was a one time box unless he ever wanted to contact DMG about pursuing other ideas in the future. He was more than glad to oblige, probably because I am such a big fan and I've been active in the forums, especially with my review. Dog Might worked hard on the box, especially Shane. I want to say THANK YOU SHANE. You are a master my friend and I don't say that lightly. You may think when I look at the box that I don't notice all of the work you put into that box, but I DO!!! Believe me, I do! I understand that the measurements involved in making such a treasured piece work so perfectly were probably a pain sometimes and you really did a perfect job on this. I want you to know that I notice all of the little details in your work. The cuts, the icons, the sanding, the finishing...its all perfect. I couldn't have imagined a better looking box. I was blown away Shane. You will probably not see this, but hopefully someone at DMG will let you read this. You have made something for me that I hope to pass down for generations. It's a timeless game, and I think my family will love breaking out the Keyflower box many times. The memories that will be at the table...and your box will be there. I'm gushing...people reading think I'm overdoing it but I don't care because I mean every word. Some people play a game a few times...move on to the next thing. I have 250 games on my shelf. I could get rid of 249 and never bat an eye. I love this game and I love this box you made to hold it. Thank you, thank you, thank you Shane (and anyone else that had a hand in making this). By the way, I appreciated your note, and if its not apparent, yes I do think the box is beautiful. Now back to why I said DMG has some of the best people in the world. DMG contacted me recently to tell me my box had been finished. I was super pumped. I had known they would get to it when they could...that was the understanding from the beginning as I made clear I was in no rush to get this box. Michael contacted me saying it was ready. I contacted him back saying GREAT! So EXCITED! CAN'T WAIT!!!! but...............my daughter had to have heart surgery the exact week he contacted me. Bills, bills, bills...yada, yada, yada. All of that jazz. I told them to wait on shipping it and I would pay them as soon as I could......They shipped the box to me anyway and told me that I could take care of payment later...to take care of my daughter and not sweat it. Now, I have bought a good amount of product from them and they know that I am good for the $ but STILL....what company does that sort of thing this day in age? It's so rare and uncommon. They have such an old school business style ...treat people like you want to be treated They even back products with their Kickass guarantee. And a guarantee is only as good as the word of person making the guarantee. I have surfed through hundreds of comments about DMG. Any time a customer is not satisfied, they work it out and make the customer happy. I have never read a customer say, "DMG didn't stand by their guarantee". They ALWAYS do. They have for me in the past when I wanted things finished a little better on a piece. I could seriously go on and but thank you Dog Might. You guys are the best. And just so everyone knows...the heart surgery went beautifully. Best doctor in the world and many prayers were answered. We are still working out bills and stuff but it was nice that someone was willing to do something so kind during such a stressful time in our lives.

You have my permission to be jealous of my custom card box. Experimental Aurora stain, with a ship's wheel carving on one side, and a diving bell helmet on the other (to make it suggestive of the tarot card from my deck it's based on). It's going to hold so many business cards at shows! Thanks Dog Might--it came out even better than I hoped!

Work in progress shots from yesterday. The UCM dreadnaughts are pretty close, just need to paint and shade the engines and apply weathering. Call it an hour's work to go, not counting drying time. The blue ships are the convention exclusives I had shipped from the UK. Not as fancy of a paint scheme, am playing with some ideas to speed up a couple of pending projects. I wanted something a little more subtle for them, in game play they need to be sneaky. I have maybe an hour in them. I just inked the engines and the yellow stripe after taking this picture, will apply some weathering and engine glows and be done. Maybe half an hour to go.

I spent another half hour or so on the Brimstone Ancient Tentacles Friday night and again Saturday morning. As a quick paint color test, I'm pretty happy. After a healthy dose of AP Dark Tone ink. Dry brushed my highlight colors, then got out 2 inks for the airbrush. Liquitex inks are super vibrant. Mostly finished, just need to paint the lip of the base black.

I've been enjoying my summer. And spending a lot of time working on painting minis. Here is some of my work. This is my most challenging piece to date. It came in five pieces. Its the first miniature I had to glue together. Then I had to buy a special putty to fix the cracks. Then I bought 3 metallic paints to use on it. It's become my "Flame and Joy" piece. My sister gave me the elf for Christmas. I bought the other two pieces. They look like they belong together. I love my portal. Can't wait to use it in a RPG secion. I worked a long time on this one, putting more and more shades of green on it. The final results is a monster I don't (and do) want to meet inside a game.
