Got my first Dog Might purchase in this week, a gorgeous bubinga and wenge sentinel! It's absolutely everything I hoped it would be, plus it fits 100% perfectly in the Kingdom Death: Monster box. Thank you so much Dog Might team, and special thanks to Zoe and Rosie for taking extra care to make sure it turned out exactly how I wanted! :D (It's a little redder in person than it is in the photos!)

Guys....I have to say....Dog Might Games are truly the best. I mean, their products are one thing, but the PEOPLE that work there are what really set them apart to me. I think these are some of the best guys and gals in the world that I've never met. Here's the story....Awhile back I contacted another friend that I have never met, Richard Breese (designer of many incredible euro games) . Richard's games ooze charm and whimsicalness (not sure that was a word but it didn't tell me it was wrong so I think I'm good). Underneath the charm, are some of the most clever, tightly woven mechanics in game design. For those who don't know Richard is credited with creating the first worker placement game. Not only that, he is an active member in the BGG community and just is one of the coolest all around guys I've ever had the pleasure to converse with. Awhile back, he even contacted me to tell me that he was mentioning MY name on his newest game box with a link to my review of Keyflower. Keyflower is my favorite game of all time, by far. I literally think its an almost perfect design. I have played the game now 1500 times. Crazy right.... Well, back to the story...I contacted Richard to ask if I could have DMG make me a box for Keyflower. It should be stated up front that I specifically told Richard this was a one time box unless he ever wanted to contact DMG about pursuing other ideas in the future. He was more than glad to oblige, probably because I am such a big fan and I've been active in the forums, especially with my review. Dog Might worked hard on the box, especially Shane. I want to say THANK YOU SHANE. You are a master my friend and I don't say that lightly. You may think when I look at the box that I don't notice all of the work you put into that box, but I DO!!! Believe me, I do! I understand that the measurements involved in making such a treasured piece work so perfectly were probably a pain sometimes and you really did a perfect job on this. I want you to know that I notice all of the little details in your work. The cuts, the icons, the sanding, the finishing...its all perfect. I couldn't have imagined a better looking box. I was blown away Shane. You will probably not see this, but hopefully someone at DMG will let you read this. You have made something for me that I hope to pass down for generations. It's a timeless game, and I think my family will love breaking out the Keyflower box many times. The memories that will be at the table...and your box will be there. I'm gushing...people reading think I'm overdoing it but I don't care because I mean every word. Some people play a game a few times...move on to the next thing. I have 250 games on my shelf. I could get rid of 249 and never bat an eye. I love this game and I love this box you made to hold it. Thank you, thank you, thank you Shane (and anyone else that had a hand in making this). By the way, I appreciated your note, and if its not apparent, yes I do think the box is beautiful. Now back to why I said DMG has some of the best people in the world. DMG contacted me recently to tell me my box had been finished. I was super pumped. I had known they would get to it when they could...that was the understanding from the beginning as I made clear I was in no rush to get this box. Michael contacted me saying it was ready. I contacted him back saying GREAT! So EXCITED! CAN'T WAIT!!!! but...............my daughter had to have heart surgery the exact week he contacted me. Bills, bills, bills...yada, yada, yada. All of that jazz. I told them to wait on shipping it and I would pay them as soon as I could......They shipped the box to me anyway and told me that I could take care of payment later...to take care of my daughter and not sweat it. Now, I have bought a good amount of product from them and they know that I am good for the $ but STILL....what company does that sort of thing this day in age? It's so rare and uncommon. They have such an old school business style ...treat people like you want to be treated They even back products with their Kickass guarantee. And a guarantee is only as good as the word of person making the guarantee. I have surfed through hundreds of comments about DMG. Any time a customer is not satisfied, they work it out and make the customer happy. I have never read a customer say, "DMG didn't stand by their guarantee". They ALWAYS do. They have for me in the past when I wanted things finished a little better on a piece. I could seriously go on and but thank you Dog Might. You guys are the best. And just so everyone knows...the heart surgery went beautifully. Best doctor in the world and many prayers were answered. We are still working out bills and stuff but it was nice that someone was willing to do something so kind during such a stressful time in our lives.

The beautiful dice tower arrived today, and I couldn't be more pleased. I love the extra little cosmetic details y'all touched on between the prototype and this. Having the felt nicely lay in so that it's completely surrounded by a frame of wood all around makes it feel just that extra bit more premium. The carving and engraving are beautiful and defined perfectly, and I can definitely tell the entire piece is carved from one block of wood (either that or someone spent a good deal of time finding pieces with grain that matches perfectly. Also, it makes a wonderful backdrop for model pictures. Keep up the outstanding work Dog Might!

For Table Top Game day, I entered this mini painting contest at a local gaming store. Had several weeks to work on it. Not bad for an amateur... & out of a group of 25 entries... Thanks to the blessings of Odin... he placed 4th!

So now that I have 3 DMG things, I thought I'd finally post them to show them off! Photo Dump GO! First of all, my Adventure Case in dark walnut. I went with the flaming sword because I thought it would look great closed or set up as the GM screen because it doesn't matter if it's upside down! I attend a medieval LARP, and my character runs a gaming table in the tavern as a business, so naturally I intend to bring my adventure case as a cool box to hold games in, rather than keep it at home holding dice. Here it is with 6 full microgames and pieces for a couple of others stored inside, ready to display at Teridan's Gaming Table! Continuing the flames theme, I got a Dragon Sheath also in walnut, which holds my fire themed dice. Here's my Hero Sleeve in benge wood with Galaxy Dice too. Didn't need a full Bone Box and (at the time) didn't know I'd be getting the wonderful gifted discount that lead to the Adv Case and Sheath. But I'm happy to have it for a more compact dice transport, and I may use it at LARP as well to hold wooden dice in the future. Thank you Dog Might for this wonderful stuff! The case has become the centerpiece of my gaming display at home, with the other two also in attendance. I'm excited to get the Travel Dice Tower and my CoCos to join them.

So, Mike and I were just discussing how amazing this community is and how honored we are to have such amazing fans. We wanted to do something to show our appreciation. Just got my CoCos! I’m Backer #50, but my order needed to get redone so it just got here. It’s a 4-Pack of benge (mine!) and a fiery green, fiery purple, and XL fiery purple (for friends in my gaming group). Amusingly, I also have a dice only Mighty Dice order that just shipped too, so I should be getting another DMG box before the week is out. Yay!

I've previously posted these but couldn't resist since they're finally getting some time on the table. DMG kingdom death gear grid prototypes working in tandem with CoCos. Magnets are holding these together for a 1 player, 2 character dashboard.

So. I’m finally all caught up with Dog Might. I pledged to the CoCo Kickstarter back in 2017. Since then I have had one order or another in production until earlier this summer. Here is the entire collection. Left to right, front to back. Hero plinths. (Various Woods) Wooden dice (Black Walnut and Chacate Preto). Dragon Sheaths (Paduak, black walnut, Bubinga, Wenge). Bone box with hero sleeves (Bolivian Rosewood, Chechen, wenge, leopardwood, and bocote) Galaxy Sentinel. Monterillo Rosewood XL Dragon sheath. Mixed wood XL Dragon sheath. Bubinga GM system. Black Walnut dice tower. Rainbow dice tower. Bolivian Rosewood rolling tray. Selectively stained Valhalla Screen. (Not pictures, many dice, some presents and my cutting board because it’s in the china cabinet and I forgot about it.)

Experimental Bordeaux finish on African Mahogany, and the ziricote XL sheath: I am in love with this finish on the mahogany. It’s stunning. It has an iridescent quality in person that is fantastic. Back side to show you how it looks on unsculpted surface: It’s always fun to see how the woodgrain lines up. It looks like the sheath pieces fit together like so:

Hello people.. Long time lurker, first time poster here. After quite a long wait (International backer N*936) my coco's finally made it to France this week. And well...it was worth the wait! The wood are Padauk, Canarywood, Black Walnut, and Chechen. (i guess, since it's my order and it look like it, but i have a small doubt with Benge, because of the felt not corresponding the one annouced for Chechen). The last pic is some of my canarywood coco, ready to help me DM a game of Conan 2d20, with those fancy doom and momentum stone (and some coins for Fortune Points).

Ding Dong! DMG box at the door!!! They weren't kidding when they called my cedar Sentinel aromatic. I moved the first fold of bubblewrap and I was enveloped with the sweet smell of cedar. Leopardwood dragon wallet. Still debating whether this will be a gift or I keep it for myself.

So, got more of the set done today. Almost finished. Thought I would share some pics. Plus, some of the custom product we are making for the palyers is ready as well. Mine is the Pink Heart sentinel. The DM Screen is not the one we will be using. That one will have a Beholder on it!

Here is the first half after one coat of lacquer. I used all scrap from the shop. This is the right side of the table. You can see the angled edge for the DM. It is made out of our most popular woods, Flame Birch, African Mahogany, Ash, Walnut, and Bubinga.

IT IS TIME!!! I have been waiting a while to share all of my gorgeous Dog Might wood bits, and today my Valhalla Screen and Component Collectors arrived so here they are in all my poorly framed glory. We have 4 Benge Component Collectors, a Benge Valhalla Screen, 2 Canarywood and 2 Padauk Hero Sleeves and a Dark Walnut adventure case. I can't wait to actually use them but I had to bust out some components from my favourite game to show them off. I am starting running a DnD adventure properly for the first time in a few weeks time so Ill add a picture of the screen in action then! Much love and respect to all here and the DMG team!

The CoCos are HERE! I got 2 in Benge wood. I got them lest friday and have so far used them for every game I've put on the table this week. They're working great, thank you DMG On the left, my Pass-em-Around CoCo, and the right is the Bank/Personal one. The Bank/Personal gives me a variety of tiles for all different game tokens, whether to use as a back or as an individual organizer. The Pass-em-Around is meant so that every player (up to 5) can get their own little tile with the two wells and also a card stand for hidden objectives/rolls. The Deck and Card Stand tiles are gravy, although upon reflection and testing I should have just gotten 3 extra squares. Then all players could have gotten a Double and a Square. A combination of both CoCos used for a mock-setup of Near and Far And finally, my entire Dog Might collection so far (+3 more card stands not depicted). Still have a Traveler Dice Tower coming next!

Ok as promised (and late for some of these) -- the latest additions to my ever-growing collection The Mini Box and Skirmish Box I was surprised at the size difference between the two. Mini Box is cool -although I'm not sure how to use some of the smaller insets. But I absolutely LOVE the Rosewood skirmish box. The color is amazing And it even has a couple of lines of sapwood in the base. I can comfortably fit four of my monster minis from KD:M inside, and the survivors in the mini box. Not sure what I'll use the 'slots' for yet. And of course the newest add - the cutting board. Looks like it might have still been wet when it was wrapped up (looks like bubble wrap marks still on it. But I figure those will work out over time. Really really happy with this purchase too!

I too have had the painting bug recently. Here are some shots of my latest ones from the Cthulhu Wars game. Really cool minis to paint. Plus they are pretty big, which helps my sawdust filled eyes. The yellow one is still a WIP.

I got my new guitar neck (bocote fingerboard with a canarywood base) and got it all installed. Figured i would post the finished result. Down the road, i intend to do the body in either canary or bocote. But that will be a little while.

Here are several shots of my new dragon tray. I absolutely love it! I took some shots in different rooms to show how the color can change from room to room depending on lighting conditions. These were all done at night though with no true natural light unfortunately. I think I stared at this for like an hour straight when I first got it. The luster on this piece is just incredible. When I say it looks way better in person I really mean it. Every time you shift it in your hand it has almost this holographic shimmer to it to where you see details and colors you didn't see before. Great job DMG!

With the arrival of our sentinels, I put out all my dice on the game mat to see how many I had. My husband decided to do the same. Turns out he has one more set of dice than I do, as well as more miscellaneous dice. (Mine is on the right).

My latest Dog Might order came in today! I'm super happy with everything, and DMG did a great job straightening out the top cut on the black walnut sentinel. Even in person I can't tell it was ever uneven. They don't seem super popular, but I for one really like the beveling and framing effects DMG has been doing lately. They add a touch of class without obscuring the grain. So here's my new KDM loadout. The card stand was made by my friend/KDM partner who dabbles in woodworking (he's going to stain and finish it later to match my dining table), and the gear grids and token holder are from Giant Turtle Creations on Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/shop/GiantTurtleCreations) who has great quality 3D printed stuff, though they're certainly not Zoxe's jaw-dropping BoRo grids. Plus everything fits inside the box when closed, provided that the gear grids and showdown board are left out on the lid.

Hey! Still here and still well. The holiday lead-up and subsequent holiday season just bogged me down. I don't even know where to begin posting, haha, so I'll just fire one off here. I'm going to try to get back into the conversation a bit more, but January-March is busy for me because I'm prepping for my company's new catalog that comes out in March. In related DMG news, I just got the notification form the dice KS on Wednesday that my Redheart D6s are on the way!

Bone Box arrived this morning just as I was running out the door headed out of town today. Only had time to glance at it until I got home this evening. I believe that’s Chechen, Leopardwood, Wenge, Bocote and Bolivian Rosewood. May have the first and last swapped. So pretty. And of course the dice. Smoke, Slime, Unicorn, Pride and Rainbow! I like lots of color!
